Biography
Vita was born in Italy and settled in New York where she attended The New York Fashion Institute. In 1979, Vita and her family moved to San Diego and resides in Rancho Bernardo.
Vita has studied with local and international artists and continues to take workshops whenever she can. Her first love is watercolors; however, she has expanded into acrylic, gouache, inks and collages.
Her professional affiliations are: The San Diego Watercolor Society (Signature Member) - California Watercolor Association (Signature Member) - ISAP International Society of Acrylic Painters (Signature Member) - Western Federation of Watercolor Society (Signature Member) – North County Society of Fine Art – Watercolor West,
Juried Member – COAL Gallery, in Carlsbad, Ca. – Escondido Art Partnership in Escondido, CA – San Diego Museum of Art Artist Guild – The San Diego Art Institute and member of National League of American Pen Women.
Vita’s paintings have been exhibited in many National and Local Shows and have won numerous awards. Her paintings have been purchased by art collectors from New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Florida, Arkansas and California.
