As a figurative painter, I create art using oils, acrylics, silverpoint, graphite, colored pencils and charcoals. Am inspired to capture the beauty of our world and am inspired by such varied but notable artists like Sherry Camhy (with whom I learned to create silverpoint works), Fernando Botero, Lucien Freud, Jeff Koons and Manolo Valdez. I received a BA in art history from NYU, an MA in studio arts from Adelphi University and as a life member of the Art Students League in NY, I am a two- time recipient of their scholarships.
