Artist Biography

My sculptural work reflects both my roots as a farm girl—where animals were part of daily life—and my deep appreciation for the serene beauty of California’s beaches.

Each project begins as a sketch, evolves into a sculpted form layered with underglazes, and is finished with clear glaze. The idea of bringing a little bit of California's sunshine to the world through art is a powerful one. The combination can be really special, because it not only makes people smile but also offers a sense of comfort and peace.

It's a great example of how art can be a powerful force for good.
